How To Wear Short Shorts And Still Look Presentable

Untitled #24

I know some of you ladies and girls like short shorts because I do too! But what do you wear with them and still look presentable? With fashion the fun thing is that you have choices and you can play with your looks. Wearing short shorts is an art that has to be mastered at a certain age in my opinion. I like to wear them with a long enough top or blazer to cover up some of the skin. This white shingle top is the perfect answer because it is long, but still has that open effect so that the shorts will still be seen. You can complete the look with a hobo bag, but I choose the clutch for a dressier approach. The same goes for the pumpkin heels, flats are an option if you decide to wear a slouch or hobo bag. Top it off with your shades and you're done!

How To Stay On Task As An Entrepreneur

I am pretty sure you have all been there! Wanting to pull your hair out when the phone rings and it is not business, or people dropping by your house of office unexpectedly during the day. What about people asking for you to do them a favor as if you have nothing to do because you work for yourself! I just do not understand why people do not respect your business day.  I have been in business for myself since 2008, first with a brick and mortar Vintage boutique and then branching off to selling online. Now my husband and I have a breakfast and luncheonette, so my work load has doubled.
It is very difficult to stay on task as an entrepreneur when people don't respect your time. Here are some of the ways that you can show people you mean business.

1. Explain to your loved ones that your business hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p. m. (just an example).
2. Stop answering the phone and they will stop calling!!
3. Don't answer the doorbell if you know that it is not about business!
4. If you are selling something like I do ask them to buy something.
5. You can let them know that yes we can do lunch on my lunch break!
6. I know that sometimes we all have emergencies and need a love one to lend an ear but not at the     expense of your time. ( I mean if it is a real emergency then yes )
7.  When you get off track and need to take a break go grab a cup of coffee with a pen and notepad to jot down a checklist of things to do, instead of calling friends or family.
8.   Most of all have fun doing what you love!

How do you stay focused?

Lux Designer Handbags

Luxe Designer Handbag
Ladies have you ever wanted a designer bag and just could not afford it or could afford it and could not bring yourself to spend thousands of dollars to own one? Well I found this site called Lux Designer Handbags and from the looks of it is a wonderful and innovative way to own your dream bag. Most of the bags are pre-owned so of course you will buy it at a fraction of the cost. There is also a payment plan too! So if you want to treat yourself for the holidays you can and they are willing to work out several options for payment as well. Oh and did I mention that Lux Designer Handbags has accessories as well. I love this site! I have my eyes on a Chanel bag as I type this post! LOL, you can never go wrong with Chanel because it is a classic bag and will always be a go to piece in my closet. "No one should have to sacrifice style for affordability, fashion is for everyone,” says LuxeDH founder Roberto Szerer.

Mall OOTD! What Wanda Wore

Since it has been nice the past couple of days I decided to dress light, but still warm enough so that I personally won't get sick. With this Jersey weather you just never know. I wanted to take advantage of the semi-nice day and walk around the mall to see what was out for the spring and maybe pick up a piece or two. To be honest with you I am really not a mall shopper but since hubby insisted on going I said why not!!! Well guess what? I picked up nothing! WOW! I love the thrill of the hunt, the excitement when I find a piece just hidden. So I like to shop at thrift stores, consignment shops, and boutiques most of the time.
Well my outfit of the day includes:

Jeans my fav lol!!!: Cut outs that I did by French Connection
Jacket: No clue thrifted!!
Black Glitter Turtleneck: Century 21
Black Leather Hobo Purse: Donna Karan
Hat: Hubby's Banana Republic
Black Suede Wedge Heel Boots: Urban Outfitters

House of Le'Moore OOTD

I had fun with this look of the day because I adore this 50's black lambs wool coat!!! OMG! I originally acquired this lovely piece from an estate sale sometime in the past fall for the House of Le'Moore boutique . I have so much merchandise that I just never got around to doing anything with it. Thank goodness I didn't because I was in desperate need of just a cute black coat for myself and BOOM, there you have it. So I decided to keep this one just for me!
So today I figured it was a good day to show off my love for this coat along with the following....

Acid semi black jeans (ripped by me) French Connection
Tight fitting mock neck top (Thrift find for $3.00)
Big black ring (Jewelry box)
Silver round earrings (Jewelry box)
Black Leather HoBo (DKNY) Thrift Find
Black leather over the knee (Gucci Boots)
