I am glad that Christmas is over!!! Certainly thankful but tired. Now it is time to get back to business, and to give you an update on the boutique. We had a couple of pieces leave, but none added. So this week I will be vamping up the store with all my goodies that I had to put to the side due to the holidays. So they are stashed away and sitting pretty. So here is what I had to say good bye to.
You know I love the colors brown and blue and I wish that I could have decorated my table with these colors for the holiday, but unfortunately hubby and I spent too much on Christmas gifts this year that I had to decline my decor joy. We will just have a small party of about 10 people for Christmas this year. I am cooking so of course it will be hectic for me, wrapping gifts, cooking early, getting the house ready, and tending to the boutique will be a task. Here are just a few items on my wish list that I wanted to use on my table, as gift boxes, invites, and decor for the holiday season.
take home box
all so cute, but I guess better luck next year!!! Secret, I already bought decorations in blue and brown that my hubby does not know about for our new bathroom!!! LOL
I am excited to announce the winner of the House of Le'Moore's first blog giveaway! Drum roll please! And the winner is Rachel who left the comment about a lovely pair of vintage spectacles which have now been sold!!!! Thanks Rachel for participating in this blog giveaway. Rachel is an artist, take a peak at her etsy shop Sunswirlgirl and browse her paintings.
Sold today from the shop was these fabulous spectacles that are just darling and an 80's disco beige and brown dress to kill! As I am wrapping my garments for shipment, I always think about where they are going and how would the individuals wear the item, what shoes, what jewelry, what make-up, everything is intriguing to me I guess that is one of the reasons why I love vintage clothing and accessories because they have a story behind the piece.
Well tis the season to give and the House of Le'Moore is having another giveaway before the end of the year!! Isn't it great! Drum Roll Please!!! Up for grabs are these fabulous pair of Vintage Red Oval Earrings.
I love these earring and they are great for the holiday! Just in time.
Well today I say bye bye to one of my most beloved pieces in the boutique and that is a vintage Christian Dior cream and gold brocade duster. What a marvelous garment, constructed so well and it is still in mint condition! Makes a perfect gift or can be worn as a holiday show stopper. Needless to say I was going to keep it for myself, but my husband hates when I buy and keep! LOL I can't help it it is in my nature to hoarde vintage clothing. I have more pieces coming to the boutique this week that I am excited about too. keep an eye out for them. Also the Christmas sale of 25% is now over but there may be something else in store very soon. Oh the House of Le'Moore will be hosting giveaways and Etsy features starting next week so watch out for that soon!
Have you ever wanted to pull items from your shop that you love? Well I am sitting here and wonder should I or should I not. You see that is the problem when you love what you do so much that you can not part with it! While sitting under the dryer yesterday at the hair salon, I decided to part with this lovely envelope clutch. It is a stunning grey color and genuine leather with a ribbed flap! I can see myself in wearing it everywhere. I look at it as a neutral color goes with everything in my eyes.
Today has been a bit of a crazy one. I am juggling pictures, advertising, and writing descriptions for my items. Uhhhh! Well I just added a couple pieces and still working on several more today. I am in a rush because I have to go to the salon which I hate sometimes because it is just so long. LOL
Christmas is approaching fast! The more I think about it the more I want to jump for joy, not for the presents but for the festive colors and the fashion that goes along with it. As I glance through what is hot for the season, I really started loving Antrhopologie! I feel that they put a vintage twist on modern flare and that is why I like them. Here are some of the many items that I heart from Anthropologie.
lovely red dress with a 30's twist
red granny shoes, gotta love them!!!
little red riding hood coat, how cute!
flowered choker, how sexy!
I just had to throw this curtain panel in the mix because I love the serenity of it!!
I am so happy and proud to say that the House of Le'Moore has been mentioned in the NJMYWAY blog. NJ MY WAY is an online publication that shares whats happening in New Jersey. I want to give a special thanks to Sue Doctor who is also the owner of a fabulous Etsy store called Haute Keys, who made this possible.
Why do women love shoes?
1. can never have a enough!!
2. same outfit different shoe LOL.
3. makes you feel good to walk into a store and just try a shoe on buy it and leave no hassle!!
4. Mersiha my style coordinator, says she feels sexy in heels!!!
5. can dress an outfit up or down!!!
You know I love color and the color of electric blue to me is a color that you can wear all year around. Well I am not one to follow the rules of fashion because I feel that fashion is what you make it to evoke your own personal style, so I do whatever I feel. Yesterday I added these funky sequin electric blue pumps from the 80's that are fabulous! if youare feeling the blue mood, try the blue skirt and the blue faux snake purse to match. All now in the Etsy shop.
So Nicole Richie; you know her Lionel Richie's daughter and socialite along side Paris Hilton, is now going to be starring in her own t.v. sitcom. The show will be based on a professional woman who is trying to balance a family and her career. That woman will be played by none other than Nicole. So I spotted her in vintage and I love to see celebs in vintage attire. Here Nicole is wearing a vintage Missoni dress for a party she attended and I thought she was stunning. Celebs all over are seen sporting vintage looks to stand out of the crowd and well to be sort of original.
Well here we go again!!! Christmas is fastly approaching and we are having a sale. The sale will be the same as for Black Friday, but it is extended until December 14th, 2009. This will give shoppers enough time for shipping delays and such.
Well as you know today is Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year!!! Etsy has some great shops to explore if yu want to find unique gifts. Since I love vintage as I am a vintage seller on Etsy as well I figured I show you just a few of the shops that I love with georgeous goodies that are offered and the wonderful sales. Today I was feeling a little green and in the holiday spirit so I listed three fabulous vintage items in the green family! A lovely 1930s pencil skirt, a fabulous colorful green dress, and a 1950s green and white sweater all on our etsy boutique.
I am pleased to announce that we our now selling on a great site just for vintage clothing and accessories named Market Publique. It is so wonderful just to see what you love and we all know that I love vintage, vintage clothing. The site is still up and coming with sellers unlike Etsy that is flooded with sellers which is ok too. But I see that Market Publique is getting a lot of press which is a good thing, they are on fabulous blogs and in the some magazines. Look for the House of Le'Moore there in addition to our Etsy store.

I spotted Michelle Obama on Stylist.com wearing this teal colored vintage inspired JCrew coat, and a fabulous pair of flat riding boots. She looks beautiful, fashionable, and comfy, now some would say that she can do away with the belt. I say that she can wear the belt but just not so high up on her waist and maybe close the coat. Other than that I see nothing wrong with the outfit. Michelle's style is classic, but I love to see her in vintage clothing rather that Jcrew. Maybe because I am a vintage clothes lover and love the fact that you can wear a piece of clothing that you will likely not see your next door neighbor wearing!
Please excuse me as I am just learning to use Polyvore for the first time and it is so fun!!! It was so easy to sign up and you start creating what you like just like that!! No hassle no fuss. Today I was feeling a bit Victorian along with modern and the military look. So what do you think? Did I do well my first time. LOL
