The House of Le'Moore After Christmas Update

I am glad that Christmas is over!!! Certainly thankful but tired. Now it is time to get back to business, and to give you an update on the boutique. We had a couple of pieces leave, but none added. So this week I will be vamping up the store with all my goodies that I had to put to the side due to the holidays. So they are stashed away and sitting pretty. So here is what I had to say good bye to.

Brown and Blue

You know I love the colors brown and blue and I wish that I could have decorated my table with these colors for the holiday, but unfortunately hubby and I spent too much on Christmas gifts this year that I had to decline my decor joy. We will just have a small party of about 10 people for Christmas this year. I am cooking so of course it will be hectic for me, wrapping gifts, cooking early, getting the house ready, and tending to the boutique will be a task. Here are just a few items on my wish list that I wanted to use on  my table, as gift boxes, invites, and decor for the holiday season.

Gone but not forgotten

Sold today from the shop was these fabulous spectacles that are just darling and an 80's disco beige and brown dress to kill! As I am wrapping my garments for shipment, I always think about where they are going and how would the individuals wear the item, what shoes, what jewelry, what make-up, everything is intriguing to me I guess that is one of the reasons why I love vintage clothing and accessories because they have a story behind the piece.

Bye Bye To Christain Dior

Well today I say bye bye to one of my most beloved pieces in the boutique and that is a vintage Christian Dior cream and gold brocade duster. What a marvelous garment, constructed so well and it is still in mint condition! Makes a perfect gift or can be worn as a holiday show stopper. Needless to  say I was going to keep it for myself, but my husband hates when I buy and keep! LOL I can't help it it is in my nature to hoarde vintage clothing. I have more pieces coming to the boutique this week that I am excited about too. keep an eye out for them. Also the Christmas sale of 25% is now over but there may be something else in store very soon. Oh the House of Le'Moore will be hosting giveaways and Etsy features starting next week so watch out for that soon!

Hurt So Bad!!

Have you ever wanted to pull items from your shop that you love? Well I am sitting here and wonder should I or should I not. You see that is the problem when you love what you do so much that you can not part with it! While sitting under the dryer yesterday at the hair salon, I decided to part with this lovely envelope clutch. It is a stunning grey color and genuine leather with a ribbed flap! I can see myself in wearing it everywhere. I look at it as a neutral color goes with everything in my eyes.

Today has been a bit of a crazy one. I am juggling pictures, advertising, and writing descriptions for my items. Uhhhh! Well I just added a couple pieces and still working on several more today. I am in a rush because I have to go to the salon which I hate sometimes because it is just so long. LOL

Christmas is approaching fast! The more I think about it the more I want to jump for joy, not for the presents but for the festive colors and the fashion that goes along with it. As I glance through what is hot for the season, I really started loving Antrhopologie! I feel that they put a vintage twist on modern flare and that is why I like them. I Heart Electric Blue!!!

You know I love color and the color of electric blue to me is a color that you can wear all year around. Well I am not one to follow the rules of fashion because I feel that fashion is what you make it to evoke your own personal style, so I do whatever I feel. Yesterday I added these funky sequin electric blue pumps from the 80's that are fabulous! if youare feeling the blue mood, try the blue skirt and the blue faux snake purse to match. Nicole Richie In Vintage!! Gotta Love It!

So Nicole Richie; you know her Lionel Richie's daughter and socialite along side Paris Hilton, is now going to be starring in her own t.v. sitcom. The show will be based on a professional woman who is trying to balance a family and her career. That woman will be played by none other than Nicole. So I spotted her in vintage and I love to see celebs in vintage attire. Here Nicole is wearing a vintage Missoni dress for a party she attended and I thought she was stunning. Celebs all over are seen sporting vintage looks to stand out of the crowd and well to be sort of original.
