My Mali Music Concert Outfit

I had a ball at the Mali Music Concert at the Highline Ballroom in NYC!!!! I decided that I wanted to be trendy, edgy, and comfortable at the same time. As you can see from the bottom picture I had a great time wearing my wife beater, which is a staple of mine I must add. In my own crazy mind I think that you can dress this plain white tank top up or down as I always do. I am a sucker for Army pants, well army anything, so when I saw these babies at a thrift store I certainly grabbed them right off the shelf and then I paired it with my black wedge heels and a borrowed Army hat from my stylish brother. There you have very simple.

Sweater Season is Coming!!

If anyone out there knows me, than you will know that I love sweaters!!! They are so comfy and cozy, well the big ones that is. But how about the cute and feminine ones? Like the cardigans, or even a velour one too? The time is upon us and we have to start dressing warmer and layering up. Have you ever worn a sweater under a blazer? Well in the House of Le'Moore Boutique added today is one that you can certainly wear under a blazer. I am loving the open concept vest as well, because you can layer it with a collar shirt and add a punch of style to any boring shirt! Thrifted in Five Minutes!!!!

     I was going to a wedding and at the last minute I decided to go thrift a dress instead of shopping out of my closet or spending a huge amount of money on a new outfit. So because I thrift shop and travel to estate sales for my living, why not treat myself sometimes!! Well well well I spotted this dress on the dress rack within five minutes of looking!!! I was so excited and immediately ran to the dressing room to try it on and boom it fit.
     Let me start off by telling you that I am calling this dress my lucky five because I found it in five minutes and it was only $4.99. It is 100% silk, which I was a little skeptical of purchasing because I knew I would be outside and not in air conditioning. None the less it worked out. The shoes were shopped out of my closet and the shades are vintage that my husband bought for me on one of his trips to the city. There you have my lucky 5!

House of Le'Moore Boutique Changes

 I have been busy these past couple of months not knowing which way to go with my blog and shop. I tried wordpress and well that didn't really work out for me so now I have switched back to my good old blogger account!!!! Yay!! I think for me simplicity is better when it comes to blogs and gadgets. I am not very technical savvy, to say the least. So I think I will stick to what I know best Fashion!!! Aha.

Now moving onto more important things and that being fashion, I am in the process of making some changes to the House of Le'Moore boutique. One of them is the purchase of my new mannequin (the silver lady). I think that she better fits my personal style aesthetics, and the mood that I am trying to convey within my shop. For some reason in my mind she even makes the ugly clothes look fabulous!!! Excuse me but I have to be honest. LOL

Since then I have been retaking my old pics so that they will show the new mannequin and I have tons of garments to upload as well. This has been a work in progress. My brother has helped me out as much as he can photographing the items, my husband has rearranged many things within my studio in order to make the small space cohesive and manageable. I will have tons of pics to update my progress but in the meantime here are just a few things that I am swooning over from my shop. Enjoy!
