What Wanda Wore!!! Today

Good morning!!! Today marks the start of a fun an exciting addition to the Le'Moore blog and it's called What Wanda Wore!!!! This will include outfits that I put together for myself or outfits that I will put together from the Le'Moore collection in my studio that are sale. I think that it is fun to play dress up don't you?? Well today I am wearing a 70's vintage blue suede jacket, 70's cowboy boots, 70's ethnic blouse, 40's vintage ring and to add a modern twist a blue pair of true religion denim jeans.

Coming to the boutique today are these two fabulous 40's purses!!!. The navy blue is my favorite because of the darling little yellow petal that is inside of the clear lucite clasp. What is better than that detail OMG!!!!!!!!!!!

Aviva The New York Housewife In Vintage Dress!!

I just love it when I spot a celebrity in a vintage garment. It just gives me a rush. Well I love watching the housewives basically all of them, but one of my favorites are the New York Housewives. I believe that Aviva was in Miami on the Last season of the show when she was wearing this fabulous Vintage Dress. I just love the eyelet detail. So feminine!!!!

Shop Update

I always wonder about the woman that has worn any fabulous grament that I come across. What were they like, what kind of life did they have, what did they do???? I am in love with this 40's suit that is in excellent condition that will be coming to the shop this week. I think I love the bow tie most of all!!!

New Banner for House of Le'Moore

I am excited to have this new banner coming soon!!!! I am now opening up my studio/office space to the public ( well still a work in progress but almost done ). So I needed a fabulous banner for advertsing so folks know that I am here. LOL

New Items today

Just added today to the shop is this 60's Mohair Coat from Austria. It is a mustard and green color, odd I must say. Also a peachy pink 60's sheer robe. I think that it is so sexy!!!

Long Awaited Shop Update

I know I know!!!!! It has been a while since I have posted a shop update but here ya go!!! I have added some fabulous pieces to the shop. One of which is my favorite! A purple Claude Montana Coat, very avant garde. Purple is of course one of my favorite colors.

Also on my hit list were these two 80's crochet tops, cool with jeans and pumps or even a pair of flats.



 

Ok here is a 30's Velvet Bolero that I would definately want to keep in my collection. I think it is just adorable. I would wear it with jeans to dress it down or a pencil skirt for glamour. But it is extremely small.

40's Vintage Hat!!!!

I swear if my head wasn't so big I would keep this 40's hat for myself!!!! It is mint green with beige velvet trim, and a lovely flower on top. This is just a darling hat to wear to church or even to a wedding with a cocktail dress. Gotta love it!!!

Bye Bye Ceil Chapman Dress?

Maybe or maybe not, but it sure does look like one. Well one lucky person is going to look fabulous in it! If any of you know about Ceil Chapman designs you will probably agree with me that this dress mimicks the design. Ceil Chapman was a designer in New York City that made glamorous cocktail dresses for celebrity and working class women from the 1940's to the 1960's. Funny thing is that it is from the 50's, but no tag to let me know who it is from.

I'm Obsessed

There are a couple pieces in the shop that I am just obsessed with. I scored a couple of 40's dress that boy oh boy if they were my size would be mine!!! One is navy blue and the other is a deep mustard color. I just wonder who was the fabulous woman in these dresses.

And this dress is breathtaking!!!!! It is a Edwardian Lawn Dress and even though is is discolored, it is still in tack well enough to be dyed and worn. WOOW!

My New Desk!!!!

Ok so I am sooo excited that I finally have this new fabulous desk. It is yellow and sort of has this shabby chic feel to it. The paint is scratched off in areas, which is great for me because it shows the age.
It is actually a vanity desk. Inside there are about three compartments and a mirror that flips up when opened. The two draws on the side are deep which give me more storage. I am just elated and can't wait to finish fixing up my studio space. I know I am always doing something different in here.

Banana Republic Second Round of Mad Men Collection

Even though I don't shop at Banana Republic I am always happy to see a retail store give vintage a modern twist. I am a true vintage lover forever but if I had to shop for inspired looks I would certainly pick up a piece or two from Banana.

House of Le'Moore Auction Sale!!!!!

In order for me to make room for all of the new merchandise that I have in my studio, items must go on sale!!!! Yes that's right sale sale sale! I have some items that have been in the boutique for a while and those prices have been slashed. Great suits, skirts, blouse etc. The auction prices start at $9.99 take a peak! You never know what gem you may find at such a great price.

Second Round of Decor Client's Home

Here are more pictures of a client's home that I decorated. I really loved working with this client because she was able to think out of the box and try unique ideas. Now I really need to start working on my own home. LOL! It is so funny how you do what you love and don't bother to do it for yourself at times.

1950's Swirl Dress Going Bye Bye

There was just something so perfect and unique about this dress! It is from the 1950's by a brand called Swirl. This Swirl dress is in mint condition and is a semi wrap around dress in cotton, so causual but yet dressy. Bye Bye!

Purse Frenzy

Ok I guess you can say I kind of went purse crazy in the shop over the last couple of days! These handbags range from the 50's to the 80's and I love each of them in their own little ways. My favorite is the leather tooled purse from the 60's made by Flores Handbags. Fabulous!!!
