Shop Makeover

I tried and it is not working for me. What I mean is that I tried with a new mannequin Vonda is her name, she is silver and nicely shaped but she just does not fit into the esthetics of my shop. I really don't know what possessed me to purchase her to be honest. Maybe because I was starting the business over again on Etsy and wanted a new look. Well I am going back to my old dress form mannequin which is what I started off with. I feel that the mannequin Vonda is just too furturistic and my old one (named Mellie today by my best friend Kelly) is a better fit for vintage clothing. So now I am in the process of taking new and old pictures on my mannequin Mellie. My studio is in disarray, but certainly worth it for the love of vintage.

The House of Le'Moore After Christmas Update

I am glad that Christmas is over!!! Certainly thankful but tired. Now it is time to get back to business, and to give you an update on the boutique. We had a couple of pieces leave, but none added. So this week I will be vamping up the store with all my goodies that I had to put to the side due to the holidays. So they are stashed away and sitting pretty. So here is what I had to say good bye to.

Brown and Blue

You know I love the colors brown and blue and I wish that I could have decorated my table with these colors for the holiday, but unfortunately hubby and I spent too much on Christmas gifts this year that I had to decline my decor joy. We will just have a small party of about 10 people for Christmas this year. I am cooking so of course it will be hectic for me, wrapping gifts, cooking early, getting the house ready, and tending to the boutique will be a task. Here are just a few items on my wish list that I wanted to use on  my table, as gift boxes, invites, and decor for the holiday season.

Hurt So Bad!!

Have you ever wanted to pull items from your shop that you love? Well I am sitting here and wonder should I or should I not. You see that is the problem when you love what you do so much that you can not part with it! While sitting under the dryer yesterday at the hair salon, I decided to part with this lovely envelope clutch. It is a stunning grey color and genuine leather with a ribbed flap! I can see myself in wearing it everywhere. I look at it as a neutral color goes with everything in my eyes.

Today has been a bit of a crazy one. I am juggling pictures, advertising, and writing descriptions for my items. Uhhhh! Well I just added a couple pieces and still working on several more today. I am in a rush because I have to go to the salon which I hate sometimes because it is just so long. LOL

My Anthropologie Love

Christmas is approaching fast! The more I think about it the more I want to jump for joy, not for the presents but for the festive colors and the fashion that goes along with it. As I glance through what is hot for the season, I really started loving Antrhopologie! I feel that they put a vintage twist on modern flare and that is why I like them. I Heart Electric Blue!!!

You know I love color and the color of electric blue to me is a color that you can wear all year around. Well I am not one to follow the rules of fashion because I feel that fashion is what you make it to evoke your own personal style, so I do whatever I feel. Why I love Rachel Zoe

I am truly obsessed with Rachel Zoe!!! I am so mad that her season has ended, Monday nights were mine. My husband knew to keep away and keep the kids away too. LOL! I am a vintage lover and have been since my high school days, that is why I sell it today as a career. Rachel Zoe loves vintage everything especially Chanel. Look at her in this gorgeous vintage gown that I would die for. My husband can't understand why I love her so much, but she is addicted to vintage fashions and so am I.
