another lovely lady!!

I had a wonderful time at the annual Lupus awareness beauty day! I did 5 minute beauty makeovers to woman and girls that were excited to be out and enjoying themselves for the cause. My mom was wonderful as she was my right hand lady. The day was filled with festivities including a runway show, a motivational speech by a life coach, beauty raffles, food, and a nice selection of vendors. I look forward to attending another event for the cause.

New Vanity Items!!

I am in love with both of these great vanity items!!! The brush and comb set is silver plated from the Edwardian era and the floral handheld mirror is from the 50's. I would love to know what ladies sat in front of their vanity making themselves pretty. It is so intriguing to me!! They both remind me of old Hollywood. Both are now in the boutique!! House of Le'Moore OOTD

I had fun with this look of the day because I adore this 50's black lambs wool coat!!! OMG! I originally acquired this lovely piece from an estate sale sometime in the past fall for the House of Le'Moore boutique . I have so much merchandise that I just never got around to doing anything with it. Thank goodness I didn't because I was in desperate need of just a cute black coat for myself and BOOM, there you have it. So I decided to keep this one just for me!
So today I figured it was a good day to show off my love for this coat along with the following....

Acid semi black jeans (ripped by me) French Connection
Tight fitting mock neck top (Thrift find for $3.00)
Big black ring (Jewelry box)
Silver round earrings (Jewelry box)
Black Leather HoBo (DKNY) Thrift Find
Black leather over the knee (Gucci Boots)

Vintage Killer Ruffle Blouse

Today I added this big floral blouse with ruffles around the wrist and neck to the shop. I love this blouse because of the bold color pattern and of course the feminine ruffles. Skinny jeans or a pencil skirt with a thick belt would look great with this blouse!

What Wanda Wore!! OOTD

Today I guess I look like a rainbow. I have a lot of colors on, but I love it! Since it's not that cold today I decided to just throw on a trusty blazer, can never go wrong one. I wasn't sure if I should keep the scarf on all day but I actually did, it gave a little more pizazz. I had a lot of running around to do and wanted to be very comfortable and these boots did the trick (sooo comfy)! You know that what you wear sometimes can dictate your whole attitude and I sure felt good. When you look good you feel good, that is my motto and I am sticking to it! Green Velvet blazer: Thrifted Peach Top: Anthropology Light blue Jeans: Seven Boots: Frye Scarf: Thrifted Beaded Earrings: Montclair New Jersey jewelry boutique Gold Bracelet: my jewelry box, I actually forgot where I purchased it

Shop Update

I always wonder about the woman that has worn any fabulous grament that I come across. What were they like, what kind of life did they have, what did they do???? I am in love with this 40's suit that is in excellent condition that will be coming to the shop this week. I think I love the bow tie most of all!!!

I'm Obsessed

There are a couple pieces in the shop that I am just obsessed with. I scored a couple of 40's dress that boy oh boy if they were my size would be mine!!! One is navy blue and the other is a deep mustard color. I just wonder who was the fabulous woman in these dresses.

And this dress is breathtaking!!!!! It is a Edwardian Lawn Dress and even though is is discolored, it is still in tack well enough to be dyed and worn. WOOW!

Second Round of Decor Client's Home

Here are more pictures of a client's home that I decorated. I really loved working with this client because she was able to think out of the box and try unique ideas. Now I really need to start working on my own home. LOL! It is so funny how you do what you love and don't bother to do it for yourself at times.
