Hollywood Glamour in Lingerie

Have you ever wanted to be like the stars in the old Hollywood? Well I have!!!!! In the boutique now is this amazing white vintage 50's lace and chiffon peignoir wedding set by Trillium. It is soooo Hollywood! The robe ties at the neck and is open and the gown wow, has two straps, the back is out and lace around the waist. I love sets like this because they are layered but still sexy. This piece is perfect for the wedding night.

Vintage Inspired Glasses by Warby Parker

 As you all know I love all that is vintage and vintage inspired, so when I stumbled upon this website Warby Parker I was in heaven!. Well not for myself personally, but for my mom. She is in need of glasses and keeps wearing these frumpy old frames. My mom helps me every Friday at my studio with all aspects of the business, but can't see to save her life.

Warby Parker glasses are vintage inspired and are fabulous. I love that they have the option for you to actually try them on at home. They will ship up to five pairs and you can try them for five days. This option is free of charge and risk free! What do you have to loose?

There is something more beautiful about this company besides the glasses, the donations. Warby Parker has a programs where they will donate a pair of glasses to people in countries that do not have access to eye care for every pair that is bought. So far they have donated more that 50,000 pairs

Cute and Flirty

Well now the weather has changed for the better and we can start wearing our cute and flirty dresses. I am so excited, being that I am a summer baby and all. I love the summer, I know I know not full blown summer yet but it is closely approaching! So in the shop I have added two cute summer flirty dresses so far. One is yellow and cool for the day and the other an estate sale find is great for an evening cocktail party!!!

More Vintage Estate Sale Items Yeah!!!!

I am still sifting through the great finds from the Opera singer Inez Bull. Another find was a fabulouse Gunne Sax edwardian style dress that is cream lace and hunter green velvet. I really love this one! Wow is all I can say about the 20's opera coat from a store that was found in the 1870's named Best & Co. The coat is a gold silk brocade design and is throughout the entire coat. It is still in great condition with a big round collar that can stand up or down.

Dame Inez Bull Estate

I recently went to a great estate sale and found so many lovely pieces that belonged to a great woman by the name of Inez Bull. I was shocked to find out that she was a pianist, writer, and museum owner. She was the ancestor of a great violinist Ole Bull, from which a museum was created in the memory of him. Inez Bull performed in front of many crowds, including royalty, cruise ships, and more. She taught at the Julliard Institute of Musical Arts and sat on many boards such as The Victorian Society.

Don't Fall In Love With Your Merchandise

Last week I found this lovely mint green Asian style quilted robe by Lord and Taylor from the 60's that I am drooling over. I keep telling myself to just treat yourself and keep it, but on the other hand do I really need another vintage robe NOOOOOOO! So guess what it is up for grabs in the shop Le'Moore Boutique. Shop Update

As you can see I am still trying to rearrange my studio space. But it is so hard when you have tons or merchandise (a good thing) and no place to put them. I have tons of bags that I have yet to sort out, steam, and take pics of for sale. One day at a time. I need to purchase another rack for storage for my lovely 50's dresses that will be coming to the boutique very soon as well as a wedding collection that I am drooling over!. That time of the year is coming so my mom and I will begin to work on them very soon. Stay tuned. Nothing like vintage wedding dresses. Miami Style Decor

Over the past months I have been working with a design client who loves Miami (me too) and wants parts of her home to mirror the decor and life style of that wonderful city. She wanted her bathroom pink and aqua marine colors!!!!! That was a task to find the marine color but the pink was no problem. So of all places I stumbled upon the marine color (Walmart)!!!!!!!!! Can you imagine? My mother was with me and we were sooooo happy that I can finally get the project started now that the color was found. So I incorporated sea shells, sand, blue beads in a large glass vase and it came out fabulous. For the walls I found small, medium, and large silver and pink reflective mirror adhesives. The lighting I purchased from HomeGoods, which was a cut out silver design cylinder lamp that I placed on top of the toilet for sexiness! I think that it came out nice and vibrant and it was just what she wanted.

Saying Good Bye to Elizabeth Taylor

So sad to see an icon like Elizabeth gone. She was fierce and fabulous in all that she did, be it men or fashion. She will certainly be missed We say goodbye to you Elizabeth!!!!!!!

60's Pink Dress and Swing Coat

I just had to post this suit that I am completely in love with. How can anyone not be that loves vintage. It is a 60's pink wool dress and swing coat. I think it is custom made. How darling is it?????

Julianna Margulies At the Golden Globe Red Carpet Look

I just love this feminine look on Julianna Margulies at the Golden Globes. She is wearing a vintage YSL Dress that is pink and black with a lovely side sash. I think she was the only lady that wore a vintage garment. What's going on this year. Most stylist these days go for the vintage gowns to make sure that no two are alike.

Clogs Are The Best

You have to buy a fabulous pair of clogs! It is a girl must have fashion staple for the season. You can wear them in a boot, mule, or sandal clog. One of my favorites actual comes from a favorite store of mine which is Anthropologie a vintage style modern shop.  They are grey leather uppers with a cute little zipper in the back and cut outs throughout. Behind The Scenes At Work

It is a new year and I have made some changes for the better, well in my opinion. I am in the process of moving things around in my studio space to make it a more conducive space. I have tons of merchandise for the boutique and no place to put it. UGHHHH! So what is a girl to do? Hubby and I talked about getting a bigger space sometime this year after all of our plans are in place as far as the expansion of the business. The goal is to have all of the what I do have online which is roughly about 500 or so pieces including, clothes, shoes, purse, jewelry and more. We are also talking about expanding to a mens vintage line as well.

Been So Long

I know I know I know it has been so long since my last post!!!!!!! So many things have happened. Where do I begin. First things first I want to say rest in peace to my beloved daddy!!! You are surely missed and words can't express how much you have taught me in my 33 years of life. The love, the trust, the believing in me when I did not believe in myself, showing me what the tru meaning of a man is. I love my dad for all of the above and then some. God has another angel with him now so I guess I can't be upset about that now can I?

Gotta Love Spectator Shoes

So I just added these lovely pumps to the vintage boutique and I am in love with them. I actually have a black and white pair that I kept for myself but now these blue ones are calling my name. Ugh what is a girl to do when she loves all things vintage?

Beyonce Fashion No No or Yes Yes?

Some will say that this is a fashion no no, but being the fashinista that I am would say YES! LOL maybe not the whole ensemble You have to be a daring person to even pull off something like this. Sometimes my attire is on the edgy side and sometimes it is just like oh that is different. I am very rarely a plain jane unless I am sick and even then I still have a different effect going on. Beyonce is a fashionista and we have to give it up to her to even have the guts to walk outside like this. As a superstar, people are looking for every little wrong that they feel that person s doing.
